The first three months of 2021 have flown by! With Earth Day quickly approaching, we thought it might be a great time to talk a little bit about the environment and Sunny Day Designs' commitment to sustainable business practices, materials, and product design.

At Sunny Day Designs, we're always working on new ways to make our playful products and production processes as green as possible! Sustainability is a core component of our brand and a major focus for us when we design and create new products. We firmly believe that eco-conscious products create more joy, especially because you know that your money is contributing to a cleaner, greener environment!

We insist on using organic and/or natural fiber fabrics and sustainably sourced/recycled papers to create our products - and have done so from the very beginning! We save and utilize our fabric scraps in creative ways in order to create and develop new products in an effort to reduce textile waste. We even source compostable and/or recyclable mailers and product packaging!

We know that every little bit of our production process has an impact on our planet and we want to do all that we can to leave the Earth a little better than we found it. We're definitely not perfect...but we're continually working on improving the sustainability of our product line in order to make our playful products as Eco-friendly as possible!

We recently added a new page to our website with even more information on our Eco-friendly practices and our commitment to the planet.

It also talks about the reason we are committed to the environment and gives specifics on some of the steps that we take every single day.

Plus...we're thrilled to announce that we're now partnering with EcoCart to provide our customers with the option to offset the carbon emissions from their orders at checkout!

There's no pressure, and the choice is yours! If you choose to do so, the cost of offsetting your carbon emissions is minimal and typically ranges from only a few cents to a dollar or two per order (which is automatically calculated based on the size, weight, and shipping destination of your order).

It's truly incredible how small changes like this can add up over time in terms of protecting the planet! We are so excited to be working with EcoCart to bring increased awareness to our customers about the impact that carbon emissions from shipping can have on pollution.
